Glenda Hadfield lives and works on the Gold Coast, her paintings celebrating what is the quintessential essence of the outback of Australia.
Glenda comes from an artistic background, her mother was also an artist. She attended Ilam art university in Christchurch, New Zealand and went on to teach art in schools.
She has covered numerous fields in art, from pottery, sculpture, oil painting, drawing and acrylics. For many years she contributed to art shows, and group exhibitions and owned and operated her own gallery in the Arts Centre in Christchurch where work was distributed to private collections all over the world. After moving to Australia and settling in the Gold Coast hinterland, she has taught art to adults and went on to full time painting, exploring diverse genres and styles of art, each of which demonstrates remarkable skill and distinctive quality.
